Mod/hack psp 3000

To mod or hack psp 3000, u need certain software.
Get the software here **Software for psp 3000 only.

** Only psp in Official Firmware(OFW) 5.03 can be mod. Any higher, sorry u must wait for another mod program to come out, which i think is wait long long. Took them nearly 1 year, from oct 2008 to july 2009 to find a hack/mod.

The steps are
1) Upgrade to Official Firmware 5.03.
a) Connect psp to computer using usb cable.
b) Take the UPDATE folder and put in your memory card Drive Letter:PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP
c) Disconnect your psp from computer. On your psp and go to game and run the update program. Follow through the steps.

2) Do ChickHen R2 ***must have default setting and default wallpaper
a) Connect psp to computer, copy the ChickHen folder and place it in the PSP/PHOTO Directory.
b) Copy h.bin over to the Memory Card ROOT.
c) Disconnect your psp from the computer, on your psp and scroll over to the PHOTO icon on the XMB and click the ChickHEN folder and move to select 2nd image and wait.
d) If all goes well the screen should blank out and flash green showing that the HEN is loaded and all is well.
c) Wait for your PSP to reboot and check PSP's system software. It should now display: "5.03 ChickHEN".

3) Lastly u can choose either 5.03 GEN-A or CFWEnabler360. For me i use 5.03Gen-A.
a) Connect psp to computer and run the LAUNCH-ME.exe
-> Select psp 3000
-> Mode: FULL
-> PSP Install: YES
-> PSP Unit Drive: your psp drive letter when connected to computer. Press START
b) Disconnect psp from computer, run the installer program like running any other game. Follow through instruction to flash and reboot.

4) Keep the chickhen and Gen-A program in the psp. So any time your psp hang or turn off due to low power, u can re-mod without a computer.
